Fits my 15.6" Samsung Series 3 Laptop NP305E5A-A03US. (Yes, some of these stand out as others say, but I'm sure it's because it has to fit many different sizes.) The one that came with the laptop was only 2 prong and also died within the first year.I replaced it with a 3 prong cable from another laptop and it seemed to work fine for a couple of years but the Third pin broke which wasn't a problem until I bought a new headset for high quality audio recording and ended up with a loud humming noise when trying to record.Searching the web I found that this is caused by a missing ground (with a third pin). The solution was to just unplug the laptop and use the battery while writing and it worked for others but for me it made no difference here. So the only thing I could think of was to replace the power cord with a three prong plug - and it worked! I'm thrilled, so maybe my joy with this power cord has more to do with the fact that it solved my headset problem. :)
