I'm always cold so I was very excited when this duvet finally arrived. It worked PERFECTLY at first. I carefully read the safety manual and instructions and assembled the duvet accordingly ..Settings (Low, 1, 2 etc all the way up to High at 10) varied noticeably in heating and matched the amount of heat produced very well.I like anything on the hot side so I was pleasantly surprised when 7 was the highest everything I ever needed to feel comfortable and happy. The duvet also heated up very quickly which was extremely impressive. I really loved it! I've had the duvet for about a month and a half now. It doesn't heat up anymore , than only a little, even at high temperatures - where I've never had that before because it made me sweat at these settings The functional test recommended by the safety booklet was carried out and the functionality confirmed. had almost completely declined. I'm so sad. I really got used to and loved this little blanket and now it doesn't work anymore. Possibly worse, I've just noticed that it gets hot right next to the cord from time to time, but nowhere else, and I have a feeling it's probably unsafe to use anymore. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this duvet at all and will be sending it back :(
