We got this to show our kids how long they should brush their teeth for (2 minutes). Well I took a timer and it ended between 1:45 and 1:52. Definitely not 2 minutes. However, we let them tip it to the side when they head out to spit and rinse, so it takes about 2 minutes with the tip. The kids loved it and it helped them brush their teeth like we wanted. You should make a recommended minute jar timer for flossing. Just a thought.
