This vacuum cleaner has almost no suction power. It can only cope with light crumbs on hard floors, it does next to nothing on carpets and cannot pick up yarn or even light dirt. In fact, if you pull your arm back and then try to push forward again, the cleaner gets stuck on the carpet and I actually hurt my back trying to push it through that resistance a few times. I have used many vacuums over the years, I certainly know how to do it. The thing is almost useless. Sorry I believed the reviews. :/ I will never buy this brand again. Unfortunately I missed the return window so it ended up in a landfill.
