Successfully replacing a broken part on a 2004 Sequoia

This part fits well and is of decent construction. The OEM clamp failed at 240,000 miles so I'm hoping to get at least 100,000 of that. You have to go surprisingly deep to replace this, but it's not that bad. You end up removing all three timing belt covers and many associated wire connections and some hose connections. There are some good videos on Youtube that will help you erase everything. I recommend keeping a close eye on them as there are some hidden fasteners that aren't entirely obvious.

Pros
  • Perfect solution - this bracket is a solid replacement for the original part that failed due to fatigue
Cons
  • Damaged
