Review on Columbia Ascender Hooded Softshell X Large Men's Clothing and Active by Jimmy Jefferson

I bought this jacket primarily for hiking in cooler weather. It is very similar to the LL Bean jacket which has been my favorite for many years with one exception. The Columbia jacket has a nice hood. I recently traveled through the Tetons and conditions during the day varied widely, from calm and sunny to intermittent downpours and strong winds. At that moment I wanted my jacket to have a hood. Well, with this new jacket from Columbia, it is. The jacket is breathable yet warm enough for a wide range of temperatures. So far, so good. I look forward to continuing to test it against the elements. It appears to be of high quality so it feels like it should last for years.
