Expensive docking station for just one screen. Doesn't really make sense

This dock works, but honestly it's too expensive for a single display. You simply use a powerful docking station to connect a display and additional USB ports. You could probably pay for a basic USB hub that does the same thing but at a lower price. That being said, this particular device comes with a good Type-C cable, which unfortunately isn't very long. The great thing about this cable is that it connects to a Type-C to Type-A adapter, so you don't have to worry about losing it. However, due to the length of the cable, it needs to be a little closer to your laptop. While you can use this with a desktop computer, ideally your laptop can be connected to multiple monitors, and you can also just place it directly under your monitor. This requires an external power supply for the device to function. However, if your device uses Type-C for charging, this will also charge your device when it is plugged in. performance than this, your laptop will not be charged. However, the screens are still published and the dock works. The first thing that needs to be said right away is that this product cannot be used to power up your device. If you want to turn on the device, you need to turn on the laptop yourself. It has three USB 3.0 ports on the back for fast data transfer, two Type-C ports (one for connecting to a laptop and one for USB ports), and one 3.0 port on the front for fast charging and easy access on the data transfer. There is also a Micro SD and SD slot on the front. The device has a power indicator that shows whether the device is switched on. It's not too bright where it gets in the way, but it's really the only way to show if the device is actually powered on. The Type-C cable can be replaced with another and easily swapped out if you need a new or longer cable. Type-C also charges if you need an external power source. The devices only have Type C, HDMI or Display for video output which is very annoying. I would have liked a display port, but that's ok. The video quality is excellent. It really keeps the video quality standard and supports 4k video screen. Another thing I would like to say about this device is that it offers you additional USB 3.0 slots that allow you to connect multiple different devices and also maintain good transfer speeds. The device is actually much smaller than I thought. The dock is fairly small and fairly light. It is very easy to connect and the design is very simple. It has a sleep mode so it turns off when not in use and the power button isn't overly sensitive but doesn't need to be pressed too hard. The outer metal is easy to scratch and notice, so be careful. Overall, I think this station is great, but to be honest, just connecting a single monitor through the display port is too much. At this point, I recommend getting a basic USB hub if you're just trying to connect to a single monitor. There are many that only have HDMI.
