I used to need a USB extender for my PS4 because the battery life on the PS4 controller reflects the life expectancy of a hamster; but without the need for a funeral. I figured a standard USB extension would fill the gap between 3ft of cable and another $60 for the controller. I took a closer look and noticed that they (JSAUX) used metal to house the USB; and that was the selling point. Upon delivery, I had no idea I was getting what appeared to be a fake monster cable. It was and is durable. Nylon braid is strong enough to create shapes. The metal case is a metal shell with a solid back. If you don't hit the body with a hammer, it won't move. And he looked clean. No weird ribs on the handle or extra plastic/rubber binding. It really looked beautiful. I felt like a cable snob and all other cables should have this level of detail. Then I realized it's heavy for the USB cable, which doesn't bother me since I don't build an airplane. I tried to see its length and pulled out the cord. and almost gouged my eye out on impulse. That's a good cable.
