Internal strings of lights have short battery life
They look great (when they work), they're easy to assemble and I appreciate the timer mode and multiple light pattern modes on the remote. My main objection to them is the battery life. Although a 2 month lifespan was stated, three out of four (with brand new batteries) stopped working after just 7-10 days. Haven't taken them off the tree I've attached them to to change the batteries yet, but that battery life makes them useless during the holiday season. I wouldn't buy them again.
