Review on 🛵 YAMAHA BIG BEAR 350 4X4 Carburetor 4WU-14901-00-00 – 1997 1998 1999 – Genuine Replacement by Dustin Marshall

I was pleasantly surprised by this carburetor. My Dad's 1997 Yamaha Big Bear 4X4 ATV has been in storage for 7 years. Washed and all fluids changed incl. petrol tank and all new filters, spark plugs, battery. The existing carburetor was no longer in need of repair, it was simply completely broken. We fired up this new carb and the quad fired right up. We were both amazed. The carbs work great. The ATV doesn't like being on the throttle for too long after take off, only like 20 seconds or so. Minor adjustments to idle screw required, otherwise works great. The ATV ran for a few hours after installation with no problems. NOTE: We had to remove the new carburetor manifold to install the throttle cable into the throttle cable housing on the new carburetor. The new carburetor elbow was about 1/2 inch shorter than stock and too short to adjust. Easy to fix.
