Just wanted to chime in as I've seen some reviews saying the battery door doesn't work and won't open - there is a hex socket head screw that you need to remove (only one) which would otherwise prevent the camera from entering from the right side (it's next to the exposure dial and strap eyelet on the A7C). Just pull it out, the battery box works fine, store it or install it outside the cage. Plus it's a great cage. Plenty of attachment points, an eyelet for a wrist strap, good enough, and one small complaint: I feel like the cold shoe can slide forward or back, it's very tight, and my Rode video mic receiver has a very small contact surface area, that is no problem, but it's the only thing that needs to be changed. Otherwise shooting with this cage was amazing, the controls didn't bother, the grip is even better, everything is a 5 star product.
