I was in dire need of a new set of high stools for my kitchen dining room and when I saw them I thought they might be worth a try. I'm glad I did. I liked them so much that I immediately bought another pair. Chairs need to be assembled. The backrest and seat are pre-assembled, but the base consists of three parts. The legs consist of two parts that cross at the seat, after which the legrest is assembled. Aside from the initial effort of getting the two leg pieces in the correct alignment to insert the screw into the chair base, the rest of the assembly was easy. Chairs are stable. You can adjust the front feet to compensate for uneven floors (or uneven feet). We've been using them for a couple of weeks and now we're having complaints. By the way, I weigh almost 300 kilos and my weight is supported by the chair without any discomfort or problems. It's impossible to predict how well they will hold up over time. I don't expect them to last forever, especially at this price point, but I suspect they will last a while. Based on my experience I would definitely order them again and recommend them without any problems.
