I bought these to wind 100ply thread (super fine thread) for hand applique to save space in the sewing box. The plastic of two of my winders splintered and the top part of my industrial winder ripped off. I just wanted cheap plastic instead of metal so I could see the thread colors. I got cheap good. Purchase branded bobbins if you intend to use them in the machine. Waste of time - as I painstakingly punched out 45 number labels for each of my colors which took ages to start winding the bobbins. Waste of money as I now have to replace it with a brand name. Save money and buy a brand.
