We've tried quite a few fancier bottles and to be honest we love these tops. One thing I want to point out is that slow flow nipples are not very slow. However, we still liked them better than other nipples we tried. Nipples Browns go really well with these bottles when you need something a little slower. Dr.Brown's nipples are slightly longer than these, so the Gerber's cap doesn't fit perfectly. You can still close them, but instead of pressing on the top, the nipple flattens out a bit. In fact, we decided we liked the faster ones that come with bottles better. The rings on their top are also perfect for Enfamil's premium premix bottles. So if you use them, they come in very handy for that. These bottles also fit Medela pumps. I used them specifically with a harmony and a stylish pump and they did a great job. One nice thing is that there aren't many parts to clean in these bottles. The bottles are light and fit well in the hand. They are shaped like a square at the bottom, which is interesting. We hand washed them and then used a steam sterilizer. So far this has not been a problem, but not so long ago. Sometimes when we cooked them the tips got stuck together which was very annoying. I want them to be purple, but that's not very important.
