I needed two extended monitors and this product claimed it could do the job. What they meant (and forgot to tell you) is that it makes your laptop a monitor and the other screens (ALL OF THEM, NOT SEPARATELY) an extended monitor. Other monitors mirror each other. (What?) I had to hook up another hub to make it work properly, but I didn't want that so I'm sending it back. There's also a refresh rate issue. The monitors continued to drop out on every connection, be it VGA, HDMI or DP. NOT A GOOD BUY if you want multiple screens. With a bit of skill you can get it to work, but I didn't want that. I want a straight hook, not all the rigging I had to make.
