Fit very small on my review.
Definitely size up a size or even two if buying. My pudgy, not chunky, 3 year old normally wears a size 4 and the 5s were snug on her. Otherwise leggings are opaque and get the job done. They still fit, just not as easy for her to get up and down for potty breaks.
