I don't know if my LED strip or strip connectors are bad. However, strip connectors did not work with strips (insulated). The pins of the connector pierce the tape from below (adhesive side) and the pins are so big that they almost break the copper pad of the LED strip and what is the result? No connection. I had to try many things to get it working. Finally, a nice but tricky trick did the trick. I cut very small strips of aluminum tape and put them over the copper pads on the LED strip (removed the impregnation layer beforehand. Only after that did the product work. If you don't want to bother fixing the product to make it work and free concerned about waterproofing, buy these connectors.
