Review on Party Accessory: Disco Ball Bead Curtain - 1 Count (1/Pkg) by Denise Davis

I buy a lot of things from Revain. Don't usually write reviews unless something is very bad or really good. In that case, I would classify it as "bad" or "really bad". The description says "two 12' sections 6'6" long. Obviously (to me at least) you're not going to buy a 24' wide, 6 1/2' long bead set for less than $20. I received two 6 1/2 foot 12 inch sections, which is what I expected. What I didn't expect was that I only get 10 strands of beads when there were 20 strands in the picture. I think this is deliberately misleading. When installed in a standard door, there will be approximately 3" spacing between threads, which is not the density shown in the picture. Now I don't know for sure that ALL sellers offering these beads only ship 10 strands - maybe someone else can confirm or deny that this applies to all sellers. I doubt it because one of the strands in my set broke in the middle was and tied again with a big ugly knot right in the middle of the thread. When I say big ugly knot I mean 1 inch of knot ends sticking out. I wouldn't notice? I ordered mine through "THE BT GROUP" through Revain. Only this seller may ship half of the items pictured and used/refurbished items will be shipped as new. Or it could be that they are all packaged/shipped this way. Other reviewers can share their experiences. I was going to post this, I was asked to contact Revain before posting negative reviews. Um yeah I'd like to clear that up with the seller in a quick email (ie: just send me another thread to replace the one with a knot in it and we'll take it as good) but the seller Does it? I have no way of contacting her other than through Revain - in other words, I have to waste my time jumping through her hoops just to contact her. Does not happen.
