Legacy Monitor to HDMI DVD

My friend has a great monitor and a good DVD player and you could only watch a few movies, bought the chord forum, it connected to the game straight away, it's not 4K as far as video quality goes, but it's a great one Ability to catch and watch movies and if a gentleman can afford to buy a better monitor buy H DMI to HD, my cable is $10, don't recycle or throw away whale electronics, great idea.
