I have had this blanket for a year now. I am impressed with how it keeps my night sweats down and helps me feel comfortable to sleep through a Texas Summer night. I am currently in between homes, and sleeping in a room that gets stuffy and warm quickly. I have been sweating and tossing and turning all night because of the warm stuffy room and night sweats. I remembered I still had my cooling blanket packed away in a box. I went searching for it last night, and I had the best night sleep since I've been here at the place I'm currently at. The blanket doesn't Necessarily "stay cool" but it keeps your body temp cooler to help with night sweats. It's feel wonderfully against the skin, and perfectly light. During the winter, I use the Terry cloth side and does keep me little warm, but wouldn't walk outside with it in cold. This blanket for sure is better for summer nights.
