We replaced a 10 year old head with a ShowerMaxx head. When I tried to remove the flow restrictor it was different from the instructions and video. After removing the screen and o-ring there were 10 holes not 4? I decided to try a 10 hole bet. Use at least 6 layers of tape. With the o-ring removed, the pressure was much stronger than our previous head and very adequate. The head and various settings work well. The only downside, like all products today, is that the main head is made of plastic. Shouldn't that be a problem if the coating doesn't peel off? Looks and works GREAT! Update 01/02/20 After a few weeks of use we decided that the increased pressure and use of water wasn't worth it. The current was very strong and after two swims we ran out of hot water. So I reinstalled the little o-ring and we think it's MUCH BETTER. Still a great shower head and all settings still give a stimulating spray!
