A few months ago I heard feedback from gamers and streamers that they would never try the 8BitDo controller. Many gamers have tried the SN30 Pro+ and now love it. I really didn't want to spend $49.99 on a Pro+, but stumbled across this one for half the price. It was much better in the price range I was looking for. I tried playing this controller with my Nintendo Switch and PC in the emulator. This controller works great with Nintendo Switch! I've only played Mario Maker 2 so far and the ABXY buttons are pressed, as are my SNES/SFC controllers. The joysticks work great when I'm creating levels and the dpad feels like what I've ever seen on my SNES/SFC controllers. Oddly enough, dpad wasn't working properly in many of the Super Mario World hacks I've played. The emulator does not read all dpad input. Personally, my Buffalo USB controller works fine on emulators. I would recommend this if you are looking for a controller for emulator gameplay.
