Review on 🔧 Fram FV309 PCV Valve: Enhanced Positive Crankcase Ventilation Solution by James Townsend

As my car is almost 14 years old I wanted to replace my PCV valve. First I bought one of the Pepboys. When I deleted the original, I did a quick comparison. The top looks about the same, but the rubber bottom is much thicker. I figured it was probably a bug on the Pepboys website and ordered it from Amazon. Imagine my surprise when Amazon's recommendation turned out to be as big as Pepboy's. Against common sense I deleted the original and put this in its place. It enters the pipe as expected but sits high on the hub (the part that goes into the engine). I added some engine oil to the rubber part because it was a tight fit - again, the rubber part is larger than stock. So far no side effects from the size difference, but it's early days. I will follow up and report.
