I have a 12 year old bichon who is the epitome of a picky eater and really likes this food. I started buying him because his groomer told me to put him on grain free food, he was suffering from severe hot spots, I tried feeding him various organic foods to try to figure out what was causing his allergies, but nothing helped until I switched to that brand. As soon as we switched him to this food his hot spots went away, he also lost some weight which was necessary and his arthritis got better too. I'm so glad I found this brand, I told his vet about it and she actually advised me to stop giving it to him because she says there is new research that says grain free diets are bad is for your dogs. Well I didn't stop because I saw how good it was for my dog and when we went to his annual exams. His tests were PERFECT. He even treated his teeth under anesthesia and his heart was strong enough, like that of a puppy. My buddy has gotten so much healthier since he ate this food and I don't think I'll switch to anything else. Oh I bought him this brand of wet food too after he got his teeth fixed and he loved it too so now sometimes I mix wet and dry food to make a little difference for him. I think with all the love he's getting and this healthy food, Buddy will last a very long time.
