Review on Contemporary Asian Candle Aroma Oil πŸ•―οΈ Burner - Modern Art Gifts & Decor by Sal Muniz

Good design. Works well if you use common sense.

Anyone who complains about smoking or burning oil most likely either didn't add water (put water in a saucer and add a few drops of oil there - the water doesn't burn the oil and warms it) gently ) or place it too close to something else. I've found that the heat doesn't dissipate and the bowl overheats when within inches of another object. It then begins to "smoke", although it appears to be a mist of water rather than burning oil. I've found that as long as you keep 3 to 4 inches away from other objects around you, the heat never builds up enough to overheat. will also overheat if the candle's burning wick becomes longer than 1/4 inch. All in all (mostly done with care and common sense) this is a beautiful design that complemented my decor well and has never let me down. By making sure the water level is high enough, I've found that it lasts as long as a candle so I don't have to keep refilling it. The oil gives me a much wider range of scents as an air freshener. Personally, I use black perfume oils by Phoenix Alchemy Lab. My favorite oil warmers are "Shanghai" with fresh green tea or "Mr. Ibis” with aloe, musk and papyrus.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
