Great visibility for "hidden " half steps, great security!
We have half steps in our house that guests sometimes don't see and that they trip over without falling. I've seen a person really fall and I'm scared of broken bones. Nothing to laugh about. I cut the ribbon into 5 "strips" spaced 12" apart. It's not that aesthetically pleasing, but it helps catch people's attention and solves a serious security issue. It's funny that I couldn't unlock my iPhone with fingerprints for a few days because the duct tape smoothed them out. Full-length steps in the garage, and now they're even safer. Highly recommended!
