The perfect hat for big heads!

When I'm looking for a hat I always get in trouble. I was instructed to please a picky teen say 4-5 times. I am returning what I ordered and am again looking for the best fit! So the fact that I give it good marks should tell you something - it's capable of satisfying the pickiest of users! For the record... Our fussiness stems from the fact that most hats don't fit my son's head because they're too small. everyone left him with a bc headache, from the tightness factor! Most hats are made out of rubber, spandex or of course spandex because a hat is the easiest thing to keep in shape. Oh and cheer up! But if you're looking for an "old school" knitting creation to pull off this trick - ha! You'd better have a grandmother who knows how to do housework, but we can't! I think this hat is kind of a hybrid! It's a cross between a casual style and a knit hat! (Yes! I understand the photos and description show fairly casual attire when worn.) Think of it this way: if a floppy hat and a knitted hat had a baby. that would be it! Hence the hybrid name! It's great because its loose knit stitch is used to create a casual style. However, it doesn't have all the excess material at the back to make this style a must-have when worn. The other part of the equation is that this crease is not a seam, allowing the user to get the correct top fit they desire and adjust the crease accordingly! **NOTE: This is the perfect answer for those with big heads. Oh my son! The material used is soft to the touch and does not irritate the user. Yes, it definitely has a shape. with little elastane. and a small amount helps keep the brain from feeling like it's in a vise. If the hat is then too stretched and loses its shape, it can be machine washed on a delicates... And just line dry! This is enough for the fibers to return and hold their shape. The type of knitting stitch used and the placement of the stitch in the pattern will help keep it from falling off your head! My only reason for the x1star deduction. Many similar caps/styles have been sold at a lower price. For those who generally have trouble finding a hat and are faced with limited options, we have no choice but to pay a premium! However, I understand...many others have options. If it survives overtime, which seems reliable enough, it will be worth the dollars spent. It's too early to talk about longevity now. I hope this information helps you make a decision... Let me know!
