Review on πŸ”Œ Gourmia GHM2530 Electric Hand Mixer - 6 Speeds + Turbo Mode - 300-Watt Powerful Motor - Integrated LED Spotlight - Includes Beater Whisks & Dough Hooks - Illuminating Feature by Gina Robinson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It was very good for the first try and then things got hot

Update 2: So sad I have to give an update after a 5 star rating. I decided to go back while the machine heats up and gets the dough hot. It heats up easily, I couldn't hold it long before the dough got the texture I wanted, but I had to take a quick break to let the machine and dough rest, even though I made a small batch of just 300g this time made of flour. Update: I am writing to update my review. Today I kneaded twice as much dough as last time (500g AP flour), I could hardly hold the mixer, the dough got hot. So I think the mixer is only ideal for small batches. Previous Review: I am sooooo happy with this purchase. I received Bosch last month and had to return. I wanted to buy a Kitchen Aid after a bad experience with a stand mixer. However, kitchen help is a bit pricey for my budget. So before I went to Kitchen Aid, I decided to try the convenient. I searched and found this brand, it's not popular but I bought it as my mom uses the Gourmia air fryer at home and it works very well. For some reason I assumed this hand mixer would be good and at this price if it had problems I could go back and then move on to the last selection of Kitchen Aid. I tried making Hokaido milk bread and Hong Kong biscuits. The mixer works very smoothly with wet creamy dough, the motor is not noisy. Best of all, the 2 LEDs help me see the batter and meringue texture better. I can increase the top speed to 6 by pressing turbo. It's not too heavy, easy to clean and saves a tremendous amount of baking time. I love it!
