These sheets are so smooth. There's nothing quite like slipping into bed when you're ready. The bottom sheet has elastic all around and is large enough to fit over a very thick mattress. This is the first set of sheets in 20 years that met all my expectations for fit, nice thick fabric and smooth feel. The top edge of the flat sheet and a pillowcase were wrinkled along the wide edge. I hate it, but I haven't found a single sheet that doesn't have deep pleats at the wider hem. I just put this hem at the foot of the bed and don't worry. The pillowcase can be ironed, but is more likely to be folded under the pillow.
