Advantages: - Easy to use, storage in soap dish with drain (wooden soap dish with soap bars or soap sponge) - Travel without worries, you have used more than a few in your 1- ounce bottle here. No TSA fails - SMELL AMAZING, I have citrus and the scent is divine! That's mostly where the rod fails on me. BUT I was so happy to realize that as soon as I started rubbing the conditioner between my palms with water, I felt the strip start to form a smooth cream. Keep rubbing the strip from roots to tips and my hair softened and I could run my fingers through it. Both wash out clean, I can't tell you how much I love the smell and how much I wish I had unscented hair products so I haven't changed the way my hair smells. Cons: - None yet. I'm excited about both. - If you are not used to using bar soap, it may take some time to get used to it. My hair is shoulder length and growing. I have straight "normal" hair, not greasy, not dry, I don't dye my hair. I'm an active person, I wash my hair regularly, I dive, so I'm in salt water a lot. Having a conditioner that will keep my hair soft after a good wash is important to keep my hair from becoming brittle. I was surprised at how silky my hair became after styling it. I hope I can add photos later, but I wanted to do it soon, I've been using them for a week now. I'll have to keep an eye on shelf life, but my other shampoo bars have lasted at least a month.
