Best design and features Accurate time and temperature

just received it today and love everything about it compared to other brands. I bought 2 other brands and returned them for this Yortot 16 inch LED clock. Great Features: Anti-glare acrylic display, huge 4.5 inch digits, dimmable LED display and night lighting, great remote control, 10ft adapter cable and extra cable. Tucked away in the back of the device it's a great idea to keep the mounting template organized and with the included screws. The instructions are excellent and in addition to the remote you also get manual controls on the right side of the unit to duplicate the remotes. The automatic daylight saving time feature is fantastic and the night light has 6 different colors to choose from. They are a pleasure to have so I bought 4 more for my office, garage, living room and bedroom. It's easy to set up using the remote control, and all functions, once set, are saved with 2 AAA batteries that you insert on the back. I recommend this for any room where you need a large dimmable clock with a calendar and the house temperature is fairly accurate. As for timing accuracy, only time will tell if this keeps accurate time. After all, people talk about temperature and I can assure you that the temperature is accurate compared to other temperature devices in my house. no temperature problem, but if it is on a hot inner wall where the sun shines outside that wall, if you set a clock on the inner wall, then yes, the temperature will be approx outside, I have 4 of these watches and they are the best and they don't gain or lose time. Time to the second is two things: 1. Set the LED wall clock on your cell phone or GPS to the second to start the time by plugging the LED clock into an outlet for the first time (no backup batteries in the compartment), 20 seconds before your cell phone clock advances to the next minute, plug the power adapter into the wall outlet. So if you set your clock to 10:09 here, plug in your wall clock 20 seconds before 10:08:40 because as soon as you plug the LED clock into the socket, the clock's internal LED timer will start counting down, even before you go through the LED time setting menu. Then go to the menu to set the clock assuming you go through the time setting menu in 20 seconds. Then press the time/date button at the end of the setting, then the LED time should be within one second compared to your cellphone time. The thing is, the clock's LED timer starts timing as soon as you plug the LED timer into the outlet, not when you press the "set" button on the remote control after going through the menu. I discovered this because every time I press the last menu item to set the clock, the time on the LED is off for about 20-30 seconds, so I figured out what's going on. If you need to do the above procedure because you can't set the time fast enough, say 20 seconds over, if the batteries are inserted within that second, continue, if you want a second accurate time then don't keep backup Batteries in the compartment before setting the time to the second, otherwise if the time is to be displayed to the second.
