EDIT: Unfortunately I have to downgrade my rating for this dock due to several egregious issues. 1) I still need to connect and use two monitors through this dock at the same time, so I'm forced to use the HDMI port on my laptop as the main monitor. Which brings me to 2) is there a significant difference in color saturation and clarity between a directly attached monitor and one going through this dock. Thinner fonts look a bit washed out and colors are washed out. I tested this between two monitors and different cables and the problem is 100% with the dock. It's not bad enough that it's unusable, but bad enough that it's worth spending over $100 on, which is of dubious value. It's better to just take a well-known amount like Dell for a little more. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Nice docking station with a whole range of ports. The body is made of aluminum, which gives it a rather luxurious look. Includes a USB-C cable to connect to a computer and a rather impractical large power adapter. (You really need to forego the devices that stick around splinters.) The small rubber feet and adequate weight help the dock stay on the table after everything is connected. All connections work fine for me except for one use case: connecting HDMI 1 to a monitor using an HDMI to DVI cable. Works fine on HDMI 2 but not 1 and I'm not sure why. But that's one of the proven monitor/cable combinations, among other things, I can forgive that. Overall, this is a well-made docking station that compares well to Dells, but only time will tell if it will last that long. At over $100, it's a little cheaper than buying a well-known brand, though not by much. However, I am still very happy with the value of this purchase. I will update my review if anything changes.
