When I applied it after a day's work in the garden, I immediately felt a cooling effect that was just perfect and exactly what my skin needed at that moment. It's very light and not sticky at all. It really sinks into your skin and doesn't leave any residue or a heavy feeling on my skin. I could feel it absorbing into my skin and my skin was very hydrated the next morning. I have used many water gels in the past and this is one of my favorites. Highly recommended!
