This brace works better than the one issued by the hospital, but is not as easy to use as we had hoped. Hubby had nerve damage following leg surgery and his knee buckles. When walking (with a walker) his leg needs to be straight. When sitting of course it is more comfortable to be bent. This brace does this but it's quite a process to lock and unlock from various positions. In order to lock and unlock it his leg has to be absolutely straight.
