As a beginner artist, I found these mechanical pencils a must for sketching. Once I identified how to properly use mechanical pencils, I found these are the first items I pick up to create sketches. Performs well. If you dislike having to constantly sharpen lead pencils, this is a must for you too.

I loved these pencils, the different sizes were good to use for sketches and detail work. They also provide you with plenty of backup led. Very comfortable to hold and overall good drawing material!

Nice mechanical pencils. These are light in the hand and don't weight your hand a you draw, which is nice when you are drawing light and fine lines or shading. The gold 2.0 have two nice features the top is a sharpener and a graphite hardness indicator that is between the top and the pencil clip. I was really just looking for refills for my mechanic pencil I use for drawing. I saw this listed and decided to try it. I though it seemed pretty cheap for what it was offering but decided to take the risk. I have to say, so far, I am not disappointed! The pencils were already loaded will lead, and each pencil came with its own refill. They are elegant and professional looking, easy to use and have little caps on the ends of 3 of the pencils which store mini erasers which also can be replaced.

Great product. Only downside I could say is the lead that comes with the set isn't quite universal to fit any other products.

the product was overall okay. i could see myself using these pencils, but i do have some complaints.first, the larger gold pencils were super confusing and difficult to use. i couldn’t figure out how to use them.second, within the first hour of using the .5 pencil, i noticed it needed a refill. no big deal. but after i put in the lead, the pencil stopped working entirely. it wouldn’t pump anything out, and the pump stopped making the "click” the others made. i took the pencil apart and put it…

Really enjoying this set so far. My one complaint is an error made in packaging. Set was supposed to come with .5, .7, .9, 2B, 2H &2HB. Missing the .5 pencil (even though I was given refills for it). I received two .9’s, one .7, and the three 2’s. I’ve included a picture and keep trying to contact seller for a swap or similar & continue to get an error message.

Missing contents and more trouble / time than it is worth to return and there is no option offered to request the missing parts be provided.

Despite the product being used for art purposes, it has the same effect when working with school. It adds the perfect touch of sharpness to paper, making it more satisfying and more enjoyable to work. Thank you!

I needed a graphite pencil lead that was a bit smaller than the average pencil for some really small detail with my drawing. This set worked great! I absolutely love this set. You can't go wrong if you buy this set!

I bought this particular set with a grain of salt- I actually happened to find it in my search for some lead to fill my .5 mechanical pencil. I bought this set for my daughter's in depth drawing class. The pencil are sturdy, comfortable to work with for a good length of time. She is very pleased with the variety of sizes and hardnesses of graphite. The refills contain a good quantity, and the erasers are excellent.

Awesome set of mechanical pencils. They're what I'm going to only be using from now on. I've been sketching with them for 2 weeks now I can't complain.My only issue is that when all the lead runs out, I'll probably have to buy a new set, when all I need is just the lead. I bought these a while ago and I finally sat down the other day and used them. They're extremely comfortable, a beautiful desgin and my piece turned out wonderful.I'd love to buy a few more, with difference sizes on the hard and soft lead!

While this will likely not become my new workhorse set of pencils, it certainly could be that some. A great value for the variety and certainly worth it as a starter kit. Might be the best starter set out there right now.

the mines don't break easily so that's very useful, the case is very fancy and comfortable. When it falls it does not break seriously, it never breaks is great and it has a lot of mines for each pencil so its a useful buy.

These are great lead n lead holders. I use them in my construction drafting/drawing class jus wish they had H and F leads in the set.
