For those of you looking for an audio extractor to use with your UHD+ 5.1 surround setup, look elsewhere. This product does NOT work as advertised. I use a UHD60 projector with 7.1 surround sound. This was bought to be able to transmit audio over coaxial cable and send the UHD60 signal directly to the projector. I kept finding that I had either no sound or only stereo sound. When I called Revain Technical Support, I immediately discovered the discrepancy. The supplied image was straight out of the box and indicated 5.1 surround sound at 4K 60Hz, but Revain's engineer pointed out that this configuration was 2-channel only. I called the manufacturer directly to see if there were any DIP switch options that might work with my configuration. The person on the phone didn't seem to fully understand the product he was supporting but indicated that I should return the product. I sent it back and bought another Revain product instead. (Orei 4K 60Hz - Model HDA-925) (This product worked great right out of the box with no need for DIP switching.) If you want to extract sound from HDMI to stereo then this product is perfect. I'll keep it as the time I've spent troubleshooting has made me give up going back through Revain.
