This is a full size bright LED traffic light. It says it's waterproof, but the cable inlet on the back lets water through as is; You need to provide an alternative fit (like Sealtite) to make it truly waterproof. It comes with a terminal block and a pre-assembled wire with red, black and green wires inside. This is counter-intuitive because unless you look at the terminal block or the schematic you might assume black is hot, green is ground and red is neutral. If you connect it this way, both lights will illuminate and it is an incorrect connection. In fact, black is neutral, red is hot for red light, and green is hot for green light. Thus, with the correct connection of the three-position on-off-on switch, the middle part is off and the other two positions are on and off. I originally purchased a built-in Uxcell AC 250V 3A on-off-on control DPDT pass-through rocker switch here from Revain to wire as described. The power consumption of LED bulbs is quite low, less than 5W per bulb, 8W when both bulbs are on, so this switch is ideal. However, after playing around with it, I decided to connect a separate power cord for each of the two lamps. and plug each one into a smart socket. I programmed Alexa to turn green off and red on for "Alexa, red light" and vice versa for "Alexa, green light". I can now change traffic lights with voice commands as shown in the attached video. Now I can't decide where to put it - it's too cool to just hide it in the garage. Other than that, it's quite an industrial looking product. The brackets are quite flexible in configuration, you can mount the sun visors either horizontally or vertically and overall the product is very solid. You can have real traffic light apps for this or just play around with it like I did. In any case, this is highly recommended.
