Review on LIHAO Waterproof Motorcycle Shelter Protection by Scott Gendron

Poor quality design and engineering

The lid itself seems to be of decent quality when it comes to cheap lids. However, I have two issues with the straps and one issue with the size. 1. It's impossible to adjust the length of the straps, so I was only able to connect two of the three sets together. 2. You can immediately see that the straps are poorly attached to the case. A slight tug and you begin to hear tears. In fact, one came loose when trying to connect them under the bottom of my bike. I have little faith that these belts will stand up to moderate winds. I can check tonight as we're getting a decent hurricane. I had to add a strap through two large rivets on the front for extra security, but that's not necessary. 3. I ordered a larger size and it does not fit my Kawasaki Versys 650. All wheel components are exposed and I would prefer not to be exposed to the weather. I was going to give it a 3 but at the end of writing I'm very disappointed with this product and don't think it will stand the test of time, also the larger size isn't really that big. Two stars for quality and price. UPDATE: This cover is truly stunning. Don't waste your time or money. All straps are broken. What's stopping it right now is the support of my own ratchet straps. I can upgrade it to two stars if I get my money back.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models
