I shine sunlight on a dead tree in my backyard, it's funny to see the colors shimmering on strange bare branches. These lights are ok and I like the different mode options. If the solar panel gets enough sunlight, the light will turn on for hours when it gets dark. All is well. I have tried several brands of such lamps and they all differ in the type of cord. They have a plastic overlay that's about the thickness of an old-school phone cord, and that makes them easy to decorate without getting hopelessly tangled (like bare wire fairy lights).
