Review on 🐾 Slidebelts: Holes-Free Animal Friendly Leather Belts by Andrew Spainhour

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good belt for a high price but few flaws

The buckle is very smooth. Medium quality straps. I give 2 stars for a high-priced belt due to some defects. I have ratchet straps that cost $10 but are way better than these. It takes some strength to push the buckle through as the end of the strap pushes through the metal biting your teeth. Holding the spirit level up when pressing the strap makes it easier to slide the buckle through and makes no noise. Release the lever, always leave a small gap open. It takes a little pressure to fully close the gap and it clicks. I left an extra 4 inches after the buckle and the end of the strap keeps popping out. I have another ratchet strap and none of them have popped out. The ratchet system is much louder than other ratchet straps I own. A few steps up. It's like turning a low tone into a medium one. I've only had the belt for 2 weeks, so I can't comment on the quality yet.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
