This board conditioner is a great product. I've used it on six cutting boards after sanding it and treating it with edible mineral oil. As a finishing treatment, when properly applied and buffed with an electric wheel, it gives a silky smooth finish that brings out the beauty of the wood. I've used this on oak, maple, mesquite, and ponderosa pine boards with success on each of them. After drying and polishing, the surface is better than when new. In particular, if you follow the instructions, keep the board and air conditioning warm (outside in AZ, this is not a problem). You can also place the bottle in a pot of hot water for 10 minutes to heat it up. Highly recommended.
