Worked well but there was no good tool to remove the old one. Do not use plastic tools. Will have to be replaced again at some point as there are shades in two corners. Imperceptible unless your screen is bright white. Another reason was that the button had a different connector, so I had to disassemble and install the original one.

The home button didn't work after installation and when trying to disassemble the screen with a suction cup, the screen broke, nothing pryed off. Originals are much stronger and easier to work with. The price is good, it looked ok, but the digitizer was everywhere, very unstable, and the home button was broken. I wish I had tried returning it sooner, had to buy another one

I bought this type of parts from another online company but they couldn't beat the price or free shipping. Great part. The iPad works like new. If this is your first time trying this, I highly recommend checking out all the help videos available and finding one to follow. A simple fix, but be careful not to damage the ribbon cable attached to the iPad case. It's easy to do. I learned it the hard way.

Good quality. There are no really visible grid lines. I've read reviews that say many of these screens are duplicates, however the ghosting is not a manufacturing defect, it's an installation error. Ghosting usually occurs when the flexible display cables are not bundled properly. Problems with these screens are sticking because they are stock and can be old so sometimes the glue doesn't stick very well. This can be solved with additional double sided tape or B-7000 glue.

Installs in 2 hours. Most of the time was spent removing broken glass and cleaning the surfaces. The actual installation on new glass took less than 1/2 hour. Plug and glass fit well. There is an imperceptible 1/64 inch gap on one side after assembly is complete, which doesn't bother me much. The glass appears transparent and works well. The screen arrived in good condition and installed without any problems. This is the second time I've done this on an iPad, let alone numerous phones, so I'm feeling very comfortable. It worked fine for 60 days except the home button was a little hard to press. Then it started behaving randomly making the iPad unusable. It acts like I pressed it somewhere when it didn't, and the screen flickers between different apps and within apps. Unfortunately I kept it for over a month before installing it

I asked the seller for help but received radio silence. Didn't want to mess around with returning this and then wait for a screen replacement which probably wouldn't work either (the cable appears to be different from the original).
