The home button didn't work and upon inspection the ribbon cable coming from the home button didn't have the same circuitry as the original cable. I asked the seller for help but received radio silence. Didn't want to mess around with returning this and then wait for a screen replacement which probably wouldn't work either (the cable appears to be different from the original). So I removed the original home button and ribbon cable for this digitizer and glued it to this screen to make it work. Despite all the effort, everything is now working perfectly. Note that my iPad Air's model number was listed in the product description, so it must have been a direct replacement. Plus: It was cheap. Cons: Needs extra work and a replacement home button and cable if you plan to use it.
