I bought this paper to make high quality pencil drawings for a picture book doll. The dimensions of the landscape are close to those of a children's picture book with larger images. The paper is thick enough - not too thin, not too thick. The surface of the paper is a medium white with very little jagged/texture but still enough to produce a wide range of tones. I prefer drawing paper that is smoother. If you're looking for a paper that allows you to explore lots of detail and create rich, flowing designs, this paper might be for you. But everyone draws differently. As with any paper, you play with the surface and adapt to it. I try to draw delicately and softly. I use HB mechanical pencils with a thickness of 0.3mm to 0.9mm. Additional Note: This paper does not completely remove dark marks caused by heavy pressure. Although they are easy to cover up with a strategy. I suggest creating your own concepts and sketching them out on whatever more forgiving paper you like. Save this paper for the final drawing. Much luck!
