At first I was very skeptical about buying this teapot. I was not only looking for a specific color (blue) but also for a good quality teapot. Not only did I want to get a "nice" teapot, but one that worked properly. Oh, and it does! I have an electric induction cooktop and it worked amazingly well. And the whistle is not bad at all. I thought it was going to be an annoying high-pitched scream, but it didn't even disappoint! So yes I am very happy with this kettle with all its features.
