Stable travel tripod, good price.

I bought this for work while traveling because it was very compact and looked like a solid construction. I've used the Tamrac Zipshot in the past, which is just as compact and nearly full-size, but can sway a bit in the wind. So I looked for something more stable. I used it on a trip to the San Diego area to take some long exposure sunset shots. It did its job well, although sometimes its height wasn't enough for the shot I wanted, but I knew my choice was solid or high. Be sure to secure the legs, I've had them untied a couple of times. It has a pretty decent Arca Swiss compatible ball head that seems to work smoothly and is detachable should you want to use it on a different tripod. I also noticed a 1/4" thread on the bottom of the center column. I suppose you could screw in the hook to hang the weight or use it to increase the height of the tripod. Price. Now I can sand hear and feel when I open and close the legs. Not perfect but pretty good value for money and it did what I needed.

Pros

Cons
