Thanks to the air chamber, these glasses are twice as soft as the soft silicone glasses my optician gave me. They are also slightly smaller at 7 x 14mm. Another difference that can be good or bad ... The hole that the screw fits in also has a very soft silicone texture that I can completely destroy because the walls are so thin. My previous pair was made of strong material and one of these broke after about two years as it was never taken off. So I'm not sure if the subtle flexibility would make it more prone to cracking or prevent cracking.
