These shoes are really comfortable and I like the ratchet mechanism on the top strap, but the soles are very flexible (cycling shoes should have stiff soles so your energy is directed to the pedals and not flexing the shoes). In addition, the rest of the material is quite elastic. After tightening them a few times, the sides stretched so much that I had to fully tighten the top strap to keep it taut. I know that if they stretch a little more, I won't be able to tighten them anymore.
