Review on A-Parser by Michael Vargas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great solution overall especially considering amount

The fact that it was quite fast, easy to use and configure. Also I liked being able to write my own parsers! Not many similar softwares out there so most people tend to stick with what's already built in by default or they spend way too much time searching for one that suits their needs (like me). And also not having to write code from scratch would save a bunch of time as well. It could be faster at times though when running queries against multiple indices this can slow down if you're parsing thousands per second. Having a lot of data sources makes querying easier sometimes because you don't have to worry about which source gets indexed first etc. Parsing all the documents into index files then loading them up for querying and using the results is pretty quick once your initial load has been made over an appropriate size data set. It's free, easy to use, has most features needed, can parse many different languages (including my favorite - Python), great documentation, works with all major browsers. It lacks some minor things like support for non-latin characters in URLs, it doesn't have an option to save/load configuration file(s). I would definitely recommend using this tool as it is very useful. You will get your work done quickly thanks to its simplicity. We are parsing data from websites which we then export into our database.
