For many years I wanted to replace a lamp on a chain that was hanging precariously from the ceiling in our boy's bedroom closet. The main closet reno caused a problem because we need to put a lot of stuff in there. I came up with this idea for a motion activated light, read the reviews and went with it. The swap was easy (except for the limited space) considering I had an existing metal box and associated wiring. The mounting holes matched the 1967 mounting box once I rotated the motion sensor 45 degrees. in one direction (photo from the right door). Easy activation with a simple flick of the wrist, and the light is bright enough to illuminate a 13ft wide cabinet, even with items on the top shelf. We have sliding doors so don't worry about opening them accidentally. And it will turn off after 30 seconds according to the instructions. The job usually took about 30 minutes, including cleaning. Very satisfied and now I don't have to worry about taking the CFL off the shelf.
